About the Artist

I’m Jenifer Aniela - an professional artist based on the Gold Coast, Australia.

I create work that explores colour, emotion, and the wild feminine. After years building a career in health and fitness, I returned to my original creative nature, the part of me that existed long before adulthood or responsibility.

My studio, Aniela, is the world where that creative essence comes alive through painting, writing, and future creative projects.

Creativity has been part of my life from the beginning. I completed a Fashion Degree in 2009 and spent years designing and hand‑painting silk garments under the original Jenifer Aniela label.

Life eventually led me into the health and fitness world, where I built a successful coaching business - but the creative impulse never left.

During a period of personal recalibration, I returned to painting not as a hobby, but as a way to reconnect with intuition, depth, and the part of myself that had always been there. That return became the foundation of the Aniela studio: a grounded, intentional space where my original creative blueprint could take form again.

Despite thriving in the coaching world, I felt a growing pull back toward creativity. During a period of personal recalibration, I stepped away from constant output and reconnected with practices that brought me back to myself - meditation, somatic work, and slowing down enough to hear my own inner voice again.

In that space, painting arrived with force! I became obsessed with the idea of creating, and began splashing colour, emotion, and memory onto canvas. What started as a way to reconnect with my inner world quickly became a full creative practice - one that now shapes the entire Aniela studio

My process is intuitive and layered. I begin with ink, collage, and spray paint, letting the composition evolve naturally. Oil paint brings richness, depth, and final form.

I’m drawn to colour, movement, and emotional resonance - creating pieces that feel both etherial and grounded.

My collections explore themes of wild feminine identity, inner worlds, emotional memory, and the meeting point between shadow and light.
